Kota Ando

Kota Ando is the Co-founder and CSO of Nihin Media K.K., a Tokyo-based health-tech startup pioneering the use of generative AI in clinical decision support. Prior to founding Nihin Media, Kota worked as a healthcare strategy consultant at ZS Associates, leading AI-driven solutions for global pharmaceutical clients. He has deep expertise in the intersection of medical information access, digital health innovation, and user-centered product design.

With a strong belief in empowering frontline doctors, Nihin Media K.K. launched MedGen Japan in 2024 Oct to tackle a pressing challenge in Japan: the overwhelming burden of information faced by clinicians with little time. Today, MedGen Japan is used by thousands of doctors across hospitals and clinics to quickly find transparent, evidence-based answers to clinical questions in Japanese.
