Prof. Mohammad Faisal Ahammad

Dr. Mohammad Faisal Ahammad is Professor of International Business & Management and Head of the International Business Department at Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds, UK. He is also Director of the James E. Lynch India & South Asia Business Centre (ISABC), which drives interdisciplinary research to address sustainability and development challenges in South Asia.

His research focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and the sustainability of MNEs and SMEs, particularly in India and Bangladesh. He serves as Associate Editor of Asian Business & Management and sits on the editorial boards of leading journals, including Journal of World Business, British Journal of Management, and Journal of Management Studies.

Professor Ahammad has received several awards, including the IBR Best Paper Award (2017) and the Overall Leeds Partnership Award (2021) for his outstanding contributions to research, teaching, and academic leadership.
