Biography
Dr. Mariko Naito is Professor of Oral Epidemiology at Hiroshima University, Japan. Her academic work focuses on dental public health and preventive dentistry, with a strong emphasis on aging and quality of life. She has been an investigator in large-scale cohort studies, providing robust evidence on oral health and their impact on healthy longevity. Internationally, she collaborates with research groups in Sweden and China, advancing cross-national studies on oral health, sleep, and social support.
