Junko Honda
Biography
Junko Honda, PhD, RN, PHN, MBA, CTN-A is a Professor at the Research Institute of Nursing Care for People and Community, University of Hyogo, Japan, and President-Elect of the International Family Nursing Association (IFNA). With more than 15 years of experience in nursing education, research, and community engagement, she specializes in family nursing, child health, and digital transformation in healthcare. Her research explores how AI, data science, and social innovation can visualize and strengthen family-centered care, promote equitable access to health resources, and build inclusive systems supporting well-being across the lifespan.
Dr. Honda has led national and international projects on nursing competencies, digital literacy, and sustainable community health, contributing to global dialogues on healthcare and the SDGs. Beyond academia, she is engaged in early childhood education management and public health initiatives in Kobe and Hyogo, bridging policy, practice, and innovation.
At the SocialTech Summit 2025, Dr. Honda will share insights from her interdisciplinary work, highlighting how technology, social business, and collaborative leadership can support families, healthcare professionals, and communities in developing inclusive and sustainable approaches to health and well-being.
