Dr. Ola Mousa is an associate professor at the Faculty of Nursing, Minia University, Egypt, with over two decades of experience in maternal and child health, particularly in underserved rural communities. Her academic work bridges clinical practice, public health policy, and grassroots advocacy, focusing on reducing maternal mortality and improving health outcomes for women and children.
Dr. Mousa has led multiple field studies and community-based interventions across Upper Egypt, contributing to national and international dialogues on equitable healthcare access. Her research interests include maternal health service delivery and cultural determinants of health-seeking behavior. She is also deeply engaged in exploring ethical issues related to maternity care, including informed consent, autonomy, and culturally respectful practices in childbirth.
