Rivu Raj Chakraborty

I am a faculty and consultant trauma surgeon working at Department of Casualty of Chittagong Medical College, an 1800 bedded teaching hospital at Chattogram since 2011 till to date. After completion of International visiting Fellowship in Trauma and Acute care from Tulane university, USA in 2013, I am working as head of the department of casualty. As a clinical teaching faculty (as Assistant Professor) I conduct clinical classes for under graduate and post graduate medical students. I am a trainer of BLS, ACLS and ATLS. I have published 13 clinical research papers based on trauma in Bangladesh. At present I am guiding and coordinating 11 trauma research projects at my academic institute. I am an author of a text book – “Essentials of Traumatology and Orthopedic Nursing.” 1st edition. Published on 2019, from Bangladesh.
In the year 2024, along with some other 6 enthusiastic faculties have founded an organization, Trauma Foundation to lead the trauma care in Bangladesh as well to promote the trauma education, research and training in this country.
