[D2S2] Lessons from COVID-19: Bridging Developed and Developing Country Responses
The session “Lessons from COVID-19: Bridging Developed and Developing Country Responses” will examine the diverse strategies employed to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in both developed and developing nations. Professor Naoki Nakashima will provide insights into Japan’s approach to managing COVID-19 and discuss preparations for future pandemics. Shohorab Ahmed Chowdhury will share how Bangladesh leveraged ICT to effectively address the challenges posed by COVID-19 both domestically and internationally. This session highlights valuable lessons learned and strategies that can inform future pandemic preparedness and response efforts across different contexts.
