Dr Amna Basharat

Dr. Amna Basharat is a multifaceted professional, currently serving as the Principal AI Research Engineer at CureMD Healthcare and an Assistant Professor at FAST-NUCES, Islamabad. With a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Georgia, USA, completed under the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship Program, Dr. Basharat’s expertise spans artificial intelligence, ontology and knowledge graph engineering, and user experience. In her dual roles, Dr. Basharat bridges academia and industry, driving advancements in technology and healthcare. At CureMD Healthcare, she leads AI research initiatives, while at FAST-NUCES, she heads the IKNEX (Knowledge, Intelligence and Experience) Design & Research Lab, focusing on knowledge-driven intelligent applications and user experience engineering.
