Dr. Mei Neni Sitaresmi

Doctor Mei Neni Sitaresmi, PhD, Consultant Pediatrician, Associate Professor in the Department of Child Health, Faculty of Medicine, Public health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and a pediatrician at DR Sardjito Hospital, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Her medical training was at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, followed by specialist training at the same institution in 2002. She received her consultant on Growth Development-Social Pediatrics from the Indonesian Pediatric Society in 2008. She graduated with her PhD in VUMC Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She is a member of the International Society of Social Pediatric and Child Health (ISSOP), Secretary of the Indonesian Task Force on Immunization, Member of the Indonesia Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (ITAGI), member of the Yogyakarta Committee on Adverse Event Following Immunization and Indonesian Pediatric Society Working Group on Growth development- Social Pediatric, member of Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) on some clinical trials. Her research interests are in the fields of Pediatric Social and child behavioral development.
