Mr. Kuniyuki Furuta

Kuniyuki Furuta is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in international development and healthcare technology. He holds an IMD MBA and has served as the COO for AI product development at medical device startup Lequio Power technology. Prior to his private sector career, Furuta worked at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and was stationed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for three years, where he was involved in the organization’s management. In 2019, he established SOIK’s Japanese HQ in Okinawa and a local subsidiary in the DRC with the aim of developing and promoting the digital obstetric solution SPAQ to improve the quality of local healthcare services.
